Preschool: 3-Year-Olds

Preschool: 3-Year-Olds

Discovering a World of Possibilities

Preschoolers are curious and full of wonder, eager to explore their world and develop new friendships. At our program, we nurture their natural curiosity and encourage them to think big and dream even bigger.

Right Experiences at the Right Time

Our preschool program is designed to provide the right experiences for your child’s growth and development. Through engaging activities and play-based learning, we foster curiosity, creativity, confidence, and compassion, helping children develop critical thinking skills, early literacy and math skills, physical fitness, and healthy nutrition habits. Children are also given “free play” time where they can engage in their favorite learning and playtime activities.

Nurturing Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts

At our program, we believe in nurturing the whole child, helping children develop not just academically, but also socially and emotionally. Our preschool program emphasizes the importance of curiosity, creativity, confidence, and compassion in your child’s development, providing opportunities for them to explore innovative ideas, express themselves creatively, build self-esteem, and practice empathy and kindness.

Engaging Programs and Activities for Early Preschoolers

Learning should be fun and exciting for preschoolers! Our program offers a variety of engaging programs and activities that your child will look forward to daily. From literacy and math activities to science experiments, art projects, and outdoor play, we strive to make learning an enjoyable and meaningful experience for your child. The children get to develop their physical (fine and large motor skills), mental (STEM and creative activities), and emotional and social skills, by learning to share, trade, and experience empathy with other children.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What kind of qualifications do your teachers have?

A: All classrooms have one or two NC WORKS certified Lead Teachers. All our assistant teachers are in certification programs specifically for early childcare development.

Q: How do I get started applying for a subsidy?

A: If you are interested in applying for a childcare subsidy, the first step is to check with your local Department of Social Services (DSS) or Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) agency to determine your eligibility. The eligibility requirements can vary by state and program, so it is important to check with the specific agency in your area.

Once you determine your eligibility, you must complete an application for the subsidy program. The application will typically require you to provide personal and financial information, such as proof of income and employment. You will also need to provide information about the child or children receiving the subsidy. Applications are available at your local DSS agency. More information can be found at this link.

After you submit your application, it will be reviewed by the agency to determine if you meet the eligibility criteria. If you are approved, you will receive a subsidy voucher or payment directly to the childcare provider. It is important to remember that subsidies may not cover the full cost of childcare, and there may be a waiting list at the daycare you have selected.

Q: Do you provide drop-in care?

A: We do not offer drop-in care because our teachers work diligently to create a stable and structured environment that promotes learning, development, and socialization. Drop-in care disrupts this environment and can be stressful for both the child and the teachers.

We strive to provide consistent and high-quality care for all our enrolled children and prioritize the stability and structure that comes with regular attendance.
